July Update

We've been up to a lot, and yet not so much this past month. The biggest news is that Jonny finished both his dental boards and step 3 of his medical boards. We've been looking forward to August for over a year now, knowing that it would be the end of some very stressful hurdles. I hope the rest of the year is all we dreamed it would be...just kidding...by now we're quite accustomed to the difficult life and have no great expectations of ease and comfort. But at least we're finally being realistic!

Other small events in July included:

Lots of swimming with Max. Although Max is a fabulous diver, sometimes he dives in at the pool steps. Not so fabulous.



Lake trips with crazy friends.





A new Macbook Pro for Jonny...to keep out of the destructive hands of The Duke.



Oh...and the saga of the battle against the evil bouganvillas in our backyard continues as I tried to slay a few bushes last Saturday. The bouganvillas may have won this battle, but the war is not over.
